Information from the manufacturer

For Eurogroove systems the Stallion 2 is a quick fit telescopic shootbolt that requires no cropping or cutting. It incorporates some added feature benefits including a unique clip in action to the Eurogroove, an automatic self setting action that sets the shootbolt at the required length and rising locking cams to maximise engagement and frame clearance. The Stallion 2 is largely stainless steel in construction to meet ever increasing requirements.

TESTING AND ACCREDITATION

UKAS laboratory tested to BS EN 1670 and has exceeded grade 4 classification for ultimate corrosion resistance.
Operational durability tested to 30,000 cycles.
Has attained BS7950 across a comprehensive range of window systems.
Has BBA accreditation certificate number 2755.

PRODUCT MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS

Zinc die cast components - ZL2 with Zinc passivate finish.
Stainless steel parts are - 430 S17 or 304 stainless steel.
Gearbox reverse gears - carbon steel 70 (CS70).
Plastic parts - glass reinforced Nylon 66.

    This is an excellent product... I didn't understand how to fit...but went on web site and found the fitting instructions using photos with written caption Excellent... My only issue was I had to refit as handle turned wrong way on the left window is replacing the lock...took me 10 minutes cos I knew what I was doing by then. Not expensive I thought

    Nice lady dealt with my phone call. Answered my two questions about the product. Took my order and arranged posting so item arrived next day. A perfect replacement fit for my window. Will order from this supplier when my next window bolt fails. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this transaction, so worth 5 stars all the way.

    Ordered this Trojan Window locking mechanism and received it next day . Fitted it in 5 mins and window is like new again . Great help from customer service. Would recommend.

    The Trojan Stallion lock was a like for like replacement of a broken lock on a twenty year old upvc framed window. Fitting was quick and easy following the instructions provided. Excellent service from Handles and Hinges who delivered the part the next day despite the order not being placed the until mid -afternoon.

    The gearbox finally went in my window. I looked everywhere for one to replace it and came across this item. Not holding out much hope, I ordered it. Fitting needed a bit of persuasion, but it fitted absolutely fine! Follow the instructions to the letter and DO NOT PUSH THE ENDS IN BEFORE FITTING and it will be fine. ;)
