Reddiplex R9726 Bubble Gasket Double Glazing Seal

Reddiplex R9726 Bubble Gasket - for use on front doors, back doors and opening windows.

Please check your size carefully with the drawing.

  • This gasket is only available in black - no other colour is manufactured.
  • SOLD BY THE METRE

Bubble Gasket is used on a window or door to create a good compression seal when it closes - it goes between the opening part and the frame so that when the window / door is closed the gasket squashes helping the window/door to fit nice and snuggly.

What is the difference between a flipper gasket and a bubble gasket? Between all the different flipper or bubble gaskets the differences are simply shape and size - they both do the same basic job and cut down on draughts and cold spots. If you cannot see an identical gasket on our site then try the sample pack - many customer find that by trying the different gaskets in their window frames that they find a gasket suitable for the job.

PLEASE NOTE:

As gasket is custom cut to the individual requirements we cannot accept returns. If you are unsure which gasket you need then please use our gasket sample pack:

Frequently Asked Questions

You should order per meter and we will cut to length for you. As it is cut to length we cannot accept returns. If you are not sure which gasket you need then maybe try the sample pack first.

Gasket can deteriorate and shrink over time so unfortunately we can’t identify your gasket this way. We recommend purchasing our gasket sample pack to see which gasket fits in your frame the best.

It is possible that a different gasket may work in your groove. Therefore, we have the sample pack, so you can try them and see what fits.

Generally by pushing bit by bit with your thumbs. With some of the chunkier gaskets such as wedge gaskets it can be done a bit easier with a gasket roller.

Readily replaced the damaged seal to a pair of french doors. The seal was very easy to put in place and looks really neat. would recommend.

    Product and Service Rating

Posted by Alan on Jul 25, 2013

Being a complete DIY novice I was a little nervous about taking the steps to renew my door seal.
We had rather a frosty time last winter due to the draft - or should I say Gale force wind coming through our door.
Temporary padding helped at the time, and we were short of the readies which led to this DIY step.
We are almost there now thanks to the very helpful staff who went out of their way with helpful advice to ensure we ended up with the correct product.
Our seal works fine - easy to fit and I now only have to find a way to adjust the door drop to complete the job.

Oh - I forgot to mention, we are both pensioners, I am 70 AND our double glazing was fitted 28 years ago. Still - we're getting there!

    Thanks again

    Just the Job

Posted by Terence Jeffery on Jul 01, 2013

My gasket was over 20 years old, so did not think I could get a replacement - This does the job very nicely - no more draughts through the door seal! Easy to cut and fit as well.
