Description
This Avocet Multipoint is a one piece mechanism consisting of a latch, deadbolt, two hooks and two rollers.
This mechanism is similar to the Avocet / WMS 2 Hook, 2 Roller, Multipoint Locking Mechanism but features a shorter distance between the outer rollers. Take care to ensure you make the correct selection when ordering.
Size:
Distance between outer rollers: 1420mm
Distance between hooks: 1220mm
Backset: 35mm
Operation:
Lift lever or double spindle nightlatch operation
Notes:
Avocetlocks were previously known as KMB or WMS
KMB/WMS multipoint locks have no markings on faceplate
Sash lifter version will not fit related keeps
Latch Reversal:
Depending on model either undo hexagonal screw on side of lockcase to remove latch or undo screw in centre of latch to remove and reinsert
Simple steps to help you choose the right size backset for your Gearbox
The Backset size is A in the diagram
Measure from the the front of the main faceplate (A in the diagram) to the middle of the spindle hole. This measurement is taken when the gearbox is attached to the main front face plate.
Measurement B is the PZ Centre.

Avocet multipoint locking system.
I found the locking system fairly straightforward to fit and it was a good quality. The door it was fitted on required afew minor adjustments to make it lock easily. Overall very happy with the product.

Product exactly as described, Fantastic price.
I required a replacement gearbox lock for my UPVC door, but found that the lock I had was no longer manufactured and had to replace the whole lock including runners and hooks. Handles and Hinges were excellent in finding me a replacement part for the door and at what I represent an excellent price. The product and support deserves five stars, well done.
