UPVC Window Handles

Venetian window handle is usually fixed by 2 bolts very much like the Espag handle, But it has a very low projection from the frame. This means that the handle won't poke through the blinds or may you blinds bulge at the handle position. A great replacement to make help your blinds fit flush to the frame.

Cockspur window handle is usually fixed by 3 or 4 screws which screw right into the opening part of the window. There is a “nose” that sticks out and this closes over a wedge which sits on the window frame. This type of handle is generally found on older double glazed upvc windows and on some wooden windows.

Tilt and Turn Handles are similar to an espag handle by having a 7mm spindle on the back but they are usually a bit more chunky to deal with the weight and movement of a Tilt and Turn window (opens inwards). 

Spade, Blade and Fork handles actually look like you would expect. Once you have taken the handle off then you will see a piece of metal at the back which is either a flat rectangle or like a 2 prong fork. These can be tricky to replace sometimes so it may be worth giving us a call for advice
