UPVC Letterbox Hinge Pin Flap Spring - Hex Ended for use with UPVc Letterboxes.

This spring is an ideal replacement if you have a floppy letterbox flap.

PLEASE NOTE this spring will only work with letterboxes as shown in the photos.

These springs are available in packs of 2 or in packs of 10.

Whilst these are a robust part there is no accounting for a heavy handed postman or leaflet delivery person. Keep some spares in the shed.

    UPVC Letterbox hex-ended hinge pin flap spring

    Exact replacement which works well. Fiddly but not difficult to fit. Obvious how to fit it if you have a mechanical mind but came with no instructions and I could find nothing online. I suspect the material used for these (original) springs hardens with age over 30+ years and then is prone to shear-stress failure at low temperatures.
