Description

This kit is a replacement for the Roto GR1000 Lozenge shaped window espag (see picture) that is not made anymore.

The kit comes with a Window locking strip and new keeps to fix on to the window frame(screws included).

To use this kit you have to remove the old keeps of the frame and renew them with the keeps supplied. There may be some resiting of the holes and this is easily done using the easy drill screws provided with the Kit.

  • 1 x 1000mm offset Window Lock
  • 3 x Universal window keeps
  • 12 x 25mm Self drilling super screws

    Replaced old GR Roto 1000. Needed to readjust the window frame after so new lock didn’t catch on outside frame but other than that worked as listed!

    Perfect replacement for year 1991 upvc window.

    Product was fine just had to trim window profile to fit the gearbox as the original was riveted into flat bar whereas the replacement gearbox was a wrap around one overall very happy

    Overall very happy but in the event that I had to replace all the screws i would actually need 12 whereas there are only 10 suppled

    The lock fit my window perfectly, no drilling needed, didn't even need to move the keeps. Very happy.

    Window lock mechanism and screws all worked well. he keepers in the pack did not match the window profile, fortunately the 'mushrooms' did fit into the old keepers, and after these were relocated normal service was resumed.

    The locking side easy to fit. The keep were more complicated and i had to purchase some spacers and even then had to restrict them from turning. Problem is non standardisation of profile shapes with different frame suppliers.
