All the older versions of Ferco systems are no longer manufactured but don't panic.

The Ferco 635 locking mechanism will replace any of the older 035, 235, 335, 435, 535 versions, and the Ferco 528 will replace the 028, 228, 328 and 428 versions.

Older versions may only have 2 rollers where the new ones have 4 rollers. You could leave the 2 extra rollers to run loose, but if you add an extra 2 keeps to your frame this will use the door lock as it should be and give increased security. Extra keeps can be bought on our keeps page

    PERFECT FIT

Posted by Chris on 13th Jun 2016

Easy to find the right mechanism on the website. The mechanism was reasonably priced and arrived within a couple of days. It was a perfect fit with no adaptation necessary; just had to cut it to the correct length. Great service all round.

A direct replacement for a worn out mechanism. Came carefully packed, was an easy job to replace and was competitively priced. What's not to like!

    Excellent Service

Posted by Mr C Austen on 26th Feb 2014

My 20yr old conservatory door had had floppy handles for far too long. Found this website through Google and having identified which type was needed I ordered on-line. It was delivered, securely attached to a length of wood, within 3 days. Apart from having to hacksaw both ends to fit my size door, the fitting was oh so simple. No holes to drill as screw holes matched to existing ones. Wish I had done this repair years ago.

Very Good Product and easy to fit

Posted by Paul Brighton on 4th Jun 2012

It was a direct replacement for my existing 2 roller lock. Word of wisdom for new buyers if upgrading from 2 roller to 4 roller - you will need to move the existing keeps and their positioning on the door frame is crucial (and a bit fiddly - make sure you have a SHARP drill :-))
PS the packaging is LARGE (as I was warned) and is now doubling up as a bazooka for my grandson.
