Measurement A is the Centre.This is the distance between the centre of the barrel and the center of the spindle.
Measurement B is the back set. That is the distance from the front of the locking system to the middle of the spindle.

Measure from the the front of the main faceplate (A in the diagram) to the middle of the spindle hole. This measurement is taken when the gearbox is attached to the main front face plate.

Up can door multilock
The website was easy to identify the correct replacement. The new item was placed alongside the broken one and compared it was not exactly the usage but m,during fitting minor adjustments had to be made to the door frame components for it to fit and function. As a DIYeri coped with the problem. Beware expecting same new items to exactly match old ones. Good service from the supplier.
