Description
This GU Ferco multipoint is a Tripact 1 piece mechanism consisting of a latch, deadbolt and 2 hooks.
It is available with either a 40mm or 50mm backset.
Hooks are sometimes referred to as tongues or flip hooks.
Size:

- Distance between hooks: 1765mm
- 20mm Faceplate
Operation:
- Lift lever
Notes:
- This version replaces original latch only design with the central bar running behind the faceplate
Latch Reversal:
- Insert small flat bladed screwdriver in the small slot in side of case at top marked R/L, push upwards to release latch
Simple steps to help you choose the right size backset for your Gearbox
The Backset size is A in the diagram
Measure from the the front of the main faceplate (A in the diagram) to the middle of the spindle hole. This measurement is taken when the gearbox is attached to the main front face plate.
Measurement B is the PZ Centre.

GU Ferco Tripact Multipoint
this was a replacement for a 20 year old lock mechanism. It required enlargement of the socket in the door as it was about 30mm longer. As a DIY locksmith I was very grateful for all the help that the company gve me with detailed instructions on removing existing mechanism and adjusting the new. Fantastic customer service!

very good replacement product
Dubious to start with as it was to replace an 18 years old lock for a wooden door. But fitted a treat. Had to reverse it, you have to be careful when opening it up or the plate will fall out. Can be fiddley to get it in the right place, but once in, didn't take long at all. Very impressed. Very Quick delivery.

Excellent product
The GU Ferco Tripact was well packed and arrived on time. The fitting was easy and the bolt action is very light. As I was replacing a twentyfive year old bolt in a wooden door there was some alteration but it fits like a glove.
