Description

This NEW style GU Secury Europa NL R/P multipoint is a one piece locking mechanism that consists of a latch, deadbolt, two mushrooms and two rollers.

Size:

  • Backset:  35mm
  • Distance between outer rollers: 1610mm
  • Distance between inner rollers: 670mm
  • Distance between latch and deadbolt:  52mm
  • Case height:  195mm

Operation:

  • Lift lever or split spindle nightlatch

Notes:

  • GU locks are now manufactured with a new style centre case
  • The main difference between old and new style is the distance between the latch and the deadbolt, this will sometimes cause problems with strike plates
  • The other major difference in the height of the lockcase, although this shouldn't cause any real problems when retro fitting

Latch Reversal:

  • Undo screw in latch. Reverse and reinstate

Nightlatch Reversal:

  • Remove latch to reveal a small screw, use a small flat bladed screwdirver to turn screw 180 degrees
