Description
This Fuhr 859 Type 3 multipoint is a one piece mechanism which consisting of a latch, deadbolt, two rollers and two hooks.
Size:
- Distance between outer hooks: 1490mm
- Distance between inner rollers: 695mm
Operation:
- Lift lever or split spindle nightlatch
Latch Reversal:
- Push latch back to reveal small hexagonal screw in side of case adjacent to the latch undo screw to remove latch. Reverse and reinstate
Simple steps to help you choose the right size backset for your Gearbox
The Backset size is A in the diagram
Measure from the the front of the main faceplate (A in the diagram) to the middle of the spindle hole. This measurement is taken when the gearbox is attached to the main front face plate.
Measurement B is the PZ Centre.

Replacement Lock
Took a while to identify the correct lock, but once delivered only needs a small amount of material sawn off at the top to acheive that professional look. Very easy to fit but remember to triple check your measurements (as per the site) before ordering and avoid costly mistakes.
