Description
This kit is a REPLACEMENT / WORK AROUND for the Tallon window lock that was fitted by Coldseal windows.
The original lock is no longer made and this kit has been put together through trial and error by our own Service Engineer and will fit most Coldseal windows. It is not a direct replacement so some adjustment will be needed, this could range from simply changing the keeps, or some customers have to enlarge the hole that the gearbox sits it. Whatever adjustment is needed it is far cheaper than buying a whole new window.
You can use your old handles but the locking system and espag plate will be thrown away.

Good Replacement
Purchased one last week and the lady on the phone said that it would require a little work to make it fit. Yes it did but not much work needed only to increase the lock hole on the sash and fit the shoot bolt retainers on the frame. Good product all in all, cheaper than a new window ! Will buy another as a spare after all it is for a coldseal window and most in the house are !!

tallon replacement not as easy as implied!!
although this product has been "specifically designed by you engineers" it didnot fit the opening sash that originally had the "tallon 22"locking system in. I had to remove a considerable amount of sash to allow the inline gearing to fit. Off set 20mm maco rail would have been a much quicker option. your web page induced me to buy but when I rang with the problem you was happy to take the product back but at my cost delivery. We hoped it was clear by our description on site that it is not a direct replacement and some adjustment will be needed. As all windows are not the same we cannot say how much adjustment is needed but feel the Tallon Kit will fit the majority of frames with some alteration.
