CA865 Patio Door Roller Wheels

I had tried to remove this patio door with the glass in place but it was too heavy/cumbersome. I figured out how to remove the double glazing unit and this made the job much more manageble. Old wheels were well worn. New ones were a direct replacmentand easily selected from the half dozen options once I got the old ones out for a look. Dead easy to fit, albeit a bit messy. Only problem was getting old worn wheels off the track. I used a couple of wallpaper scraper to ease the worn wheels up and over the track and rested the wheels on the scrapers to prevent damaging the UPVC sill. Ditto to ease the new ones on to the track.

I purchased a pair of patio door rollers to replace the ones on my door (plastic) which had worn away, the ones I received were actually better than the ones I replaced, the roller being made of metal will probably last a lifetime, very satisfied and fast and efficient delivery service.

After 7 years of a sticking door I sent photos of rollers and asked how to remove them. Prompt reply. So ordered them and fitted them in 30 mins. Need warning sign on door now, as rollers so good. Porch door next.

The replacement rollers I ordered where an almost Identical replacement for the old, collapsed bearin and fractured casted part but with Improved rollers and bearings and all new screws and bolts for a straight, no hassle swap.

When the rollers failed on my 25 year old I knew that I was going to be in trouble, but those I found on 'Handles and Hinges' were the exact replacements. Unbelievable! As was the service from the company when the the Courier company failed to deliver!
