On a Vita shootbolt mechanism when you turn the handle, at the same time two shootbolts simultaneously shoot in opposite directions into security strikers at both ends of the sash, securing the window vent. A total no-nonsense security locking mechanism that stands out from the crowd for many good reasons; it’s simplistic, strong, durable well designed shootbolt drive mechanism assembly, incorporating the gearbox and extension bars in one sealed unit; the ideal designed lengths to suit all window vent applications, that secure into high security shootbolt corner drives at each end of the sash and the one piece high security corner strikers.
