Wedges / Frame Strikers for Cockspur Window Handles on double glazing
These are shaped pieces of plastic on the window frame that your Cockspur handle closes over.
There are 2 little studs on the back which slot into holes on your frame.
Wedges are held in place with superglue which can be purchased separately if required.
These are usually found on older types of double glazing, upvc or aluminium windows and often in caravans or mobile homes.
**Sold in packs of 10**
Available in White or Black.
Where to measure: cockspur wedges are thinner at the ends and thicker in the middle. The size relates to the thickest part of the wedge.

Good value wedges
Fitted well, we got away with no glue which we preferred given how long it took to drill out the old broken ones.

Ideal replacements.
5mm and 6mm wedges purchased to remedy a few issues with some old windows in the house my son recently purchased. They appear to have sorted the issues with the windows not sealing correctly.

Generally, pleased with these items. They are slightly thicker than the worn wedges they are replacing so the windows now close nice and tight.There was a noticeable drop in external noise levels once the new wedges were fitted One small issue for me was that the pins/spigots were oversize diameter-wise for the locator holes in our frames, but they were easy enough to sand down. Would recommend these as replacements for worn/lost wedges.
