FULL PATIO BOTTOM RUNNERS CONVERSION KIT for tilt and slide patio doors
This system is ideal if you have a tilt and slide patio door system where the bottom bogeys have either snapped or the spring has broken meaning the door will not stay open whilst running. The system is a GU set that can be made to fit most UPVC double glazing patio doors. Our engineer has converted many old systems to work and run like new. The job will take approximately 2-4 hours depending on your DIY abilities.
The system comes complete with two new bogeys and a new bottom rail which will need to be swapped to enable the runners to work smoothly. Also the pack comes with a new bottom cover and new feet caps (the bits that usually break when removing).
** Please note: there are no fitting instructions with this product due to variations in your existing patio door **

Despite being supplied without instructions the kit is easy enough to fit for the serious DIYer more importantly once fitted my 25 year old door now operates like a new one.
excellent kit, fitted by me in three hours.runs very smoothly.recommended.
Very good running gear. Far superior to original gear. I had a conservatory installer come fit mine and he charged me £40. It took 4 hours only because the top runner proved to be a problem. Otherwise a superb conversion kit for old and knackered running gear. Thanks for the parts, I am now very, very happy with my conservatory door.
Replacing the tilt and slide gear saved me hundreds and hundreds of pounds and returned my doors to a 'good as new' state. The GU units supplied by Handles and Hinges, equal or exceed the the quality of the manufacturers original units. By following the detailed advise given by Miles and Janet, it took a little over two and a half hours for the job to be completed by two retired engineers. I would certainley recommend the product, the service and the support provided by Handles and Hinges.
5 star sevice .product arrived a day early which ment door was mended on time.well done staff at handles and hinges.
I received the kit and after a couple ( about 3) of hours my patio works great, it runs like new and easy as the day we had it fitted. I really did think I would have to buy a new patio door at but you guys have saved me thousands thank you very much and super customer service (especially to Dylan) who gave me heads up on cuttong the track so I didn't have to move the screws.A+
