Fantastic product and great service. Easy to install as a replacement for a shiny brass/gold one I was getting rid of to try and tone down the door furniture bling I'd inherited!

Letterbox was delivered promptly and packaged securely. Really sturdy and although the screws supplied were a bit short, I was able to use the ones from the previous letterbox. It looks great. Would recommend.

Good letterbox, and proved easy to fit in hole occupied by previous broken letterbox. Your measuring instructions are good. Since the depth of the slot in my door was on the borderline around 40mm I opted to get your deeper option, on the basis that if the letterbox was too deep I could cut it down. But in fact I didn't need too - the telescopic design gives some flexibility. The two supplied screws were slightly too long, but I found another pair that worked fine. I appreciate that the supplied screws are a bit of a guess, as doors vary greatly in thickness. I also ordered a pack of 10 self-tapping screws in case I needed to fix the box this way, but didn't need them - two long screws going through the door are enough to provide a secure fixing. The self tapping screws weren't wasted, as I used some to replace some screws on other door furniture that had rusted.

the unit was a direct replacement save that it was a two screw through fixing and the screws were 10mm too short for the section. However, by using the alternative four screw fixings it is soundly fitted and looks smart.
